Autumn 2019 Newsletter

Winter is Coming

I hope you've all had a wonderful summer! I've had a great summer walking all your dogs in the beautiful sunshine, but autumn has arrived and winter is coming. It's time for rain and mud and crisp orange leaves! That being said, I've added extra towels and blankets to the van and will do my best to clean the dogs up before they return home. Please remember to leave your dog's coats/jumpers out where I can find them if you want them to wear them. If you are thinking of getting your dog a coat for the winter, I highly recommend the 'Equafleece' dog suits which are 100% rainproof, breathable, warm and most importantly, keep their legs clean!. I've put a link to their website below. Please also let me know if you want your dog putting in a different room, or shutting off doors to other rooms during the rainy/muddy days.

No More Lie Ins

As I mentioned in my previous email, October sees the addition of a morning walk to my schedule. So from next week, Maya will be moving to the 'Sunrise Squad', a one hour walk between the hours of 8.30-10.30am. This walk is available to all Knaresborough based clients if you need the occasional morning help, but i'll also be looking to add a few regular clients to this walk, so if you know anyone who is looking for a morning walker, send them my details! I have attached below an image of the walking schedule so you can see where there are spaces if you need an additional walk one week. My aim is to have 5 regular dogs booked in to each walk, leaving one space SPARE just in case. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns (or if I've missed anyone!)

New Faces

You may have spotted a new little Cockapoo has joined the Tuesday team... Coco is the newest addition to our Katie & Co family and she's settled in so well! So far we have learnt that she likes to bark and chase the other dogs when they play, she knows great tricks like roll over, and she loves rolling in poop almost as much as Ziggy! Welcome Coco!

K.T. Phone Home

In other news, I have just ordered the brand new iPhone 11!!! I'm hoping there will be no more issues with my phone dying, cracked screens, or water damage! I'm also hoping for improved photo quality! I try to upload photos to Facebook everyday but sometimes if the weather has been bad or we've been livestock dodging, that's not always possible. However, there are always short videos to view on the @katieandcodogwalking Instagram story.

That's all Folks...

I think that's all... just a reminder that if you need anything at all, the best way to contact me is by text or email. I usually save all my texts until the end of the day when I have my diary to hand to make sure I don't miss anything. Sometimes I don't get notifications for messages on Facebook so text is always best! Call too, but I usually don't answer when I'm walking or driving (obviously!)Thank you for reading another lengthy and rambling email!
